ABOUT

Dr. Ines Poza

Ines Poza, Ph.D. brings a unique set of skills and training to her work as a focus group moderator and communications consultant.  In addition to a BA and MA in psychology with a minor in communications, she holds a doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Texas, Austin.  In the course of her training, Dr. Poza became expert in highly specialized techniques necessary for determining a differential diagnosis by the end of an intake interview.

For over 20 years Dr. Poza has moderated in Spanish and English and provided strategic planning services for television, film, and advertising industries as well as consumer goods clients with diverse populations on topics ranging from social and political issues to mainstream media testing.

 

In addition to her commercial work, over the last 25 years Dr. Poza has provided services pro bono to projects that support the disenfranchised and help build necessary infrastructure. From in-home interviews throughout Central Los Angeles following the 1992 riots to research for Aids Project Los Angeles, and with the Veterans Administration to better understand the needs of homeless women veterans, Dr. Poza is an engaged partner, committed to using her talents in understanding people to build community and development of resources for those in need. 


Her views regarding U.S. Latino consumer dynamics have won national and international attention with publications featured in The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Adweek, Ad Age, Hispanic Business and other online sources.
